12 Principles of Animation

The goal of this project was to train myself. To push myself out of my comfort zone and make something with the 12 principles of animation. I opted to do it in a sort of “ball on path” way to showcase the principles and add a story to the animation. I’ve never had any experience with animating before coming to this school, so this was a big challenge for me. Animating was difficult, but rewarding. I wanted it to feel a bit childish and educational, something you could show to a child, and they can learn from it. The color palette has a lot of contrast, but it is quite muted so as not to strain the eyes and still feel inviting.
